DEMOCRACY

The DEMOCRACY banner is a mobile architecture that deals with the yearnings for social transformation, collaboration, and speaking of resistance for a future time, a language of the masses. It is a work done together with the artists Adriana Maciel and Martha Niklaus for marches and public acts. Created in 2016 has already participated in many demonstrations.

Suely Farhi explores the intersection between word and space, creating works that transform objects into writings and vice versa, activating the sense of language in the environment. Her research seeks to rescue worn-out words, giving them new life and depth, reflecting on the relationship between language and spatial experience.
