CHAOTIC MASS

Chaotic Mass is an interrelational object. Several experiences have been made since the late 1980s to this day. They are bands of tnt (non-woven fabric) that are offered to participants. Inspired by the expansion of a black hole, it begins well condensed and spreads, is both light and heavy, flies, curls and encases people and leaves their pieces as a vestige in each of the participants.

Suely Farhi explores the intersection between word and space, creating works that transform objects into writings and vice versa, activating the sense of language in the environment. Her research seeks to rescue worn-out words, giving them new life and depth, reflecting on the relationship between language and spatial experience.
